On the Spot Active (single site licence)

On The Spot products are a range of interactive materials to support students with special educational needs. The range includes job cards, information leaflets, lifecards and multimedia programmes. Materials can be photocopied and CD-ROMs are also available. All the resources are all highly visual and brightly coloured, designed to engage with students on a variety of life and work subjects. 

This colourful, easy to use, computer game encourages students to explore jobs and the world of work in a lively and fun way. Designed for younger students or students with learning difficulties, the programme has seven activity zones, of varying levels of difficulty, each with its own theme and challenges. Full of colourful images, sound effects, amusing animations and tasks to complete, this programme will delight users as they gather simple information about jobs and work.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The publisher of this series no longer supplies printed versions of their paper based packs. Instead, you will receive an empty binder and a CD containing a PDF of the pack. This allows you to print out your own copy of the resource and put it in the binder provided and/or use the CD to install the resource on the purchasing site's intranet (as per the single site licence) so that staff can access it and print off the pages they need, as they need them. A printed version can be ordered but at a £30 per pack surcharge.
