This is an amazing resource for students, and one which I would have great confidence recommending to those who so often feel daunted by the whole personal statement process. Alan's enthusiasm shines out of the pages and has an infectious quality which I am sure will lead to students approaching their preparation and writing with greater self belief.. ..admissions tutors are in for some treats!

Excellent! Spot on, very readable and straight to the point, bringing together very useful hints and tips as to how to stand out. And at just £1, you just can't go wrong.

I suggest parents are also made aware of this book, as I am sure they would be very happy to buy this for their son/daughter if they know of its existence. My daughters went to Leeds and to Oxford and this would have been such a help when they were at this stage. I just wish that this had been available then.
